Great Father's Day at Blue Poles

The Spring day dawned bright and warm with a clear blue sky and not a cloud to be seen. Fathers, both young and old, who were treated to a spoil at Blue Poles all loved their experience. One of our guests remarked, "whether it's for lunch or morning tea, a visit to Blue Poles is always memorable." But sadly once again we had to turn away folks who had either not booked early enough or who decided just to drop in.

Full House at Blue Poles on Mothers Day!

Wow! Blue Poles was buzzing with a huge crowd of people celebrating their loved ones' special day in style ... everyone had a great time, and the comments of appreciation of the food, service and naturally the view were overwhelming. Thank you. It's really nice to be appreciated, and the staff certainly appreciated the generous tips!

Sadly though we had to turn away many folks who had either not booked early enough or who decided just to drop in. Numbers are limited for our Special Mothers Day lunch so that both our kitchen and front of house staff can offer top quality food and service while our patrons can take their time and really enjoy their experience without being hassled to leave.

The Stig's Mystery Visit

Around 40 people gathered at Blue Poles on their quest to find the very elusive one they call The Stig, and to enjoy lunch and the beautiful scenery of Byabarra.

Organisers Paula McMahon and Roslyn Muras were ecstatic to find such a ‘treasure’ in the hinterland of Port Macquarie.

Porsche 928 Landsharks Club Members hail from across Australia, from Queensland and Victoria as well as NSW. They were keen to examine each other’s cars, engines and kit and regale their fellow members with daring tales of various exploits.

The Stig made a mysterious entry on a rural four wheel buggy on the property of Blue Poles, causing all members to suddenly rush to the verandah, to get a better view and desperately keen to capture his image on film.

‘Lunch was delicious, the venue superb, and our members thoroughly enjoyed their experience,’ said Paula McMahon. ‘Every need of our function was met and exceeded, while the wonderful staff made our members feel very welcome. They hope to come back to explore these parts of the country.’
